kubben > Refreshing, hot water.
(7-16-08)

Why drink fresh, clean, cool water, when you can have hot rain water that has been sitting on a dirty bucket all day? Mike prefers any water other that what is in his bowl.
kubben > SNAKE!!!
(5-26-08)

This little guy was lucky that I almost stepped on him BEFORE I started mowing the yard. But then he had to suffer the humiliation of being trapped in a bucket while I mowed. I couldn't let him go without taking a few pictures. And he was the perfect little snake and cooperated wonderfully while I posed him for photos. He is now happily slithering away back in the alley.

kubben > My turn for a squirrel.
(7-25-08)

I have a hard time getting shots of squirrels in the back yard, because Forest always chases them off. He thinks that is loads of fun. But I saw this guy back on the fence, so I left Forest in the house while I slowly crept up on him. I was amazed at how close I got before Mike, the cat, came running up and scared him off.
kubben > Fire.
(6-21-08)

I went over to a friend's tonight to take some pictures of her boys and niece. And then I had dinner with them and enjoyed a couple of beverages. After the storms rolled through, we started this fire and roasted some marshmallows. I had a very enjoyable evening and I sure hope I got at least one or two shots that she'll like.
kubben > My boat at DeSoto Lake.
(8-1-08)

I skipped out of work a little early this afternoon and went up to DeSoto to float my boat. It was a little toasty out there this afternoon, and there wasn't a lot of activity. I had the whole lake to myself.

The last time I was up there, that dock was about 2 feet under water. The lake is still higher that it was last year, but it has definitely gone down.

OK, one more Ireland picture. I'm almost done going through them, so they should be coming to an end. This is at the Blarney Castle, and yes, Mom and I did kiss the Blarney stone.
kubben > Decisions, decisions...

I can't believe I'm even considering this, but...

I have no idea what she is, Boston terrier/Jack Russell mix perhaps?? She and her sister were left in the drop box at the Humane Society several weeks ago. They are currently being fostered by a friend of mine, and should be ready for adoption by the end of the week.

I wonder if she would enjoy riding in a kayak...

Edit: LOL, Sparky. I did take Forest and River over to meet the puppies tonight, as I definitely needed to see how they would react. Forest wasn't too thrilled with them at first, but by the time we were getting ready to leave, he was starting to run around with this one. So as long as he wouldn't have to give up his spot on my lap, I think he'd be OK. And River was totally fine with them.
