A gallery of daily photos. Some may be good, some may be not so good, but each photo represents something I did, or something that caught my eye, that day.
The power of the wind.

Yea!!!! My power is back on. I got home from work and had lights. It's amazing how much you miss electricity (TV, radio, internet) when you don't have it. It was only out for about 20 hours, so that's not too bad. I have friends who are still without power.
Big storms carrying 80-90 mph winds rolled through at about 5:00 last night. This is an example of the damage that was done. A number of homes were destroyed by toppling trees, and there are uprooted trees everywhere. There wasn't a single street between my house and work where you didn't have to go around tree debris. It's a mess around here. And this was done by straight wind, and not a tornado.
There are a few more shots from this property
here. This debris is actually quite cleaned up already. This tree had fallen on the house and the entire corner of it was demolished.
Thankfully, my neighborhood faired pretty well. Some people down the street had some pretty large branches come down, but otherwise, it was mostly smaller stuff. There are still piles of debris all along the street, though.
